At the spray drying stage, concentrated solution is sprayed out in the tank through a high-rotating disk-like nozzle built into the spray-drying machine. The mist-like solution then passes through hot air, and water is depleted in an instant. This is how dry extracts are made. Dehumidified air is emitted out of the air broom placed in the tank of the machine so that extracts will not get stuck on the inside walls. Dried extracts are cooled down and then collected. This method enables us to realize a stable drying process even for highly hygroscopic products such as kampo formulations. Our Kameoka Plant has large-, medium- and small-sized facilities, and we can meet all kinds of customer needs; we are ready to fill not only a large-volume orders but also small-volume orders with a large variety. |
